  • About The University - San Francisco @ McAteer

    The Academy offers a rigorous and relevant curriculum to come across the needs of our diverse educatee body. All students complete their a-m requirements during their 4 years and graduate higher-eligible. Thanks to a partnership with CCSF, many of our graduates likewise graduate already having earned transferable college credits.

    Every Academy student receives college counseling all four years supported through our two total-time academic counselor and full-fourth dimension higher counselors.

    The Academy's small-scale school setting allows our teachers to create an effective learning environment by working closely with students and their families in building a stiff community. Within this community, teachers are able to requite more private attention to students and communicate regularly with parents. Our administrators, like our teachers, work to individualize experiences for stakeholders by welcoming parents to drop in to school whenever they like discuss the best way to serve families. As a small school, between our 2 administrators we know every educatee on campus and are very hands on with all student back up issues that arise.

    The University-SF is co-located with Ruth Asawa Schoolhouse of the Arts at the former McAteer campus, withal, the Academy is a separate school located on the commencement flooring of the Main Building.

  • After Schoolhouse Programs

    The Academy - San Francisco @ McAteer runs an ExCEL afterschool programme from 3:thirty to half dozen:30 PM, which includes academic tutoring, enrichment activities, CAHSEE prep and credit recovery. All Academy pupil-athletes attend mandatory study hall through the afterschool program. Activities include Graffiti Arts, Cooking Club, and a Hip Hop Recording Studio. Students receive bookish support as well as informal mentoring, through the relationships they build with our dynamic staff.

  • School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

    School Accountability Written report Cards (SARCs) are required by country law and are intended to provide families with of import information.

  • School Program for Student Achievement (SPSA)

    Schoolhouse communities get together twice a year to review data and previous actions in club to intentionally plan for the coming months. The Schoolhouse Program for Student Achievement is the template on which this review and stakeholder date process is codified.

  • Social-Emotional and Civilisation Climate Report

    SFUSD annually surveys families and schoolhouse staff on a range of schoolhouse climate indicators that have been found to predict positive educatee academic achievement. The social-emotional learning of students in grades four-12 is also assessed.

  • 2018-2019 School Accountability Highlights

    Published annually past SFUSD to provide access to key data points and three-year trends related to student achievement and school culture-climate. The highlights are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Filipino, and Vietnamese.

  • 2018-2020 Balanced Scorecard (BSC)

    A 2-year program each school creates with families, students and community members that details the school'due south goals and priorities.
